How to prepare for an AI interview without sounding rehearsed

AI-led interviews reward the same thing thoughtful human interviews do: a clear example, honest reasoning, and a useful conclusion.

Build a small story bank

Prepare four to six examples that cover conflict, ownership, a setback, a hard decision, and a measurable outcome. For each, remember the context, your specific action, and what changed.

Practice your first sentence

Start with a direct answer, then add the necessary context. This keeps your response understandable even if the question is recorded, summarized, or reviewed later.

Treat feedback as a draft, not a verdict

Use a practice score to identify patterns such as vague outcomes or too little context. Keep the underlying experience truthful and make the explanation more precise.
